Please be aware that Jan-30-2021 is a full day BCS Academic Competition event. There will be NO SCHOOL on Jan-30-2021. Below is the information for the coming BCS AC events:

The BCS academic competition team will hold a seminar for academic competition participants at 4:00 PM this Saturday (1/23). We will explain the online competition process for you. Participating students and parents are welcome to join.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF BOARD VACANCY AND
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION
Wednesday, January 13, 2021
To the Berryessa Union School District Community:
As announced on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, a vacancy was created on the Board of Trustees of the Berryessa Union School District by the resignation of Board Member David Cohen following his election to the San Jose City Council.
The Board member vacancy will be filled by Board appointment.  Beginning today and ending at noon on Monday, February 1, 2021, the Board will be accepting applications to fill this position.  Please click here for a copy of the application.
On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, the Board anticipates meeting in an open session public meeting at 6:00 pm at the District Office to review all applications and to interview the candidates.  Candidates should make themselves available for this meeting.  The Board’s appointment of the candidate to fill this position will take place at the Wednesday, February 10, 2021 Board meeting after discussion of candidates.
Applications will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the District Office, beginning January 14, 2021 or by email to kgomez@busd.net.  To be considered as a candidate, the application must be received in the District Office or by email by noon on Monday, February 1, 2021. Any application received after noon of Monday, February 1, 2021 will not be accepted.
