Dear Parents,
This year we are celebrating BCS 40th Anniversary. BCS Spring Performance (SP) and Spring Performance Poster Contest will become parts of 40th anniversary celebration. The SP will be held on Saturday, Mar 14, 2020 at the Multi-Purpose Room of Sierramont Middle School. If you and your class are interested in any of two events, Poster Contest and Spring Performance, please submit the following application form to any BCS offices. Please refer to the attached file for details.

Every class is required to submit 2 pages for BCS 40th anniversary yearbook. Please email to yearbook@bcs-usa.org  should you have any questions. The submission due by Feb/15/2020.

BCS will celebrate Chinese New Year and AC award ceremony next week ( 02/08/2020 ). 1st and 2nd grade classes in Morrill are required to provide one parent helper to support the setup and clean up of the event in Morrill campus.

Congratulation to those winners in BCS Academic Competition.  The Award list has been posted on the BCS website.  For students who won 1st place in the competition will receive an email from BCS AC team about representing BCS to participate ANCCS Academic Competition held on 3/22 1:30pm in Fremont Mission High. **Coronavirus**
BCS is highly aware of the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Wuhan China.  The situation is still developing and we will continue to monitor and pass on any new information.  We asked that everyone take a common sense approach and keep your child at home if they are sick.
Per BCS handbook, please contact your child’s teacher about his absence and make arrangement in regard to any homeworks.
Please practice proper hand  hygenie and cought protocol, do not cough into hand.
Please review the attached information from the county health office.

The 2020 BCS Academic Competition will be held on this Saturday at 1:30pm. All participating students please check in at Sierramont Middle School for your competition on time. 

Please find the list of parents who will act as proctors and/or perform patrol during the competition at the end of the email. The BCS Academic Competition Team will send out emails on further details shortly. If you cannot perform your duty on the day of the competition, please contact the class representative parents to arrange for your replacement. There will be a fine of $20 for no shows.

This year is BCS 40th anniversary. BCS will be making memorable yearbook and T-shirt for sale as one part of the celebration events. You may order the yearbook, T-shirt (Turquoise in color) or both (at discounted price) using the attached form. You may refer to the same on BCS website. Due to overwhelming requests, the due date is extended to 12/21.  Please return all order forms to campus office by that date before 10:00am.
The Academic Competition participation notification was sent on Saturday, 12/14/19. The school end by 11:30am and there will be no culture class this Saturday for Fall Carnival event in Sierramont Middle School.
Fall Carnival event (10/26/2019) is on this Saturday, everyone is encouraged to visit the event in Sierramont Middle School. There will also be Halloween costume competition on the same day. Here is the reward for the costume contest: 1st – $50, 2nd – $30 & 3rd – $20. Please refer to the attached file for the event flyer.
There was an incident that parent ran over the barricade cone last Saturday in Sierramont at the school front entrance to the parking lots. Both parking lots are reserved for teachers and board members. Please follow the traffic instruction from our parent patrol for the safety of everyone in the school campus compound.
All parents and students in Sierramont should only enter the classroom from outside. This has been BCS policy for long time. If you have any doubts, please stop by BCS office to review our students handbook.
